I got a quarter of gray oil paint and that did the trick

DIY Wall Poster

It's been long since I do a DIY and I was thinking maybe I can show you how to do a cute poster for your home

...Don't you love all the Etsy posters??

My friend and I were in the etsy business like a year ago or so.......two un-wean babies, a toddler with an attitude, and two church callings latter and we abandoned the ship
...with the hope of doing it again. {It was fun!}

I have some friends with etsy shops that I would love for u to meet (perhaps another day)... and for that n more..

I am a big etsy/ hand-made supported

in other words buy etsy!!

And after my awkward "all over the place" post today here it is:

...

DIY How to Make your Own Etsy Poster

1.Print the phrase you want on regular paper (tape it together)
2. Find a sunny window n tape it to the glass (so it won't move)
3. Put the "nice" paper on top, I used watercolor paper since I was using watercolors to fill in the letters (you can also use markers)
4. Trace it with a sharpie, (fill in letters optional)
5. Fill in letters with watercolors/markers, etc

 LISTO!!!

Have Fun People!

P.S Dear C do you remember when we used to do all-nighters and 2 hrs trips to that ONE store?? :-)

DIY How to make your own Profile Silhuette in 4 simple steps [Como hacer tu propia Silueta de Perfil en 4 simples pasos]

Step 1.
After taking a picture, open it on your image editor (paint,Photoshop,Microsoft picture, etc) and zoom in (or out) until you have the size you want for you frame (I did mine at 105%).
 Paso 1.
Abre tu foto en cualquier programa para editar fotos (paint,Photoshop,Microsoft picture, etc) y el zoom dentro o fuera hasta que tenga el tamaño que desee para tu marco (yo la hice a 105%).

 Step 2.
Place a white paper over the image (screen) and trace it carefully with a pencil.
 Paso 2.
Coloca una hoja de papel blanco sobre la imagen (monitor) y trasa con cuidado la imagen usando un lápiz.

Step 3.
Cut the white paper and place it in the opposite direction of how you wanted (if I want my silhouette facing left, then trace it facing right). Trace it unto the black paper.
 Paso 3.
Corta el papel blanco y ponlo sobre el papel negro para trasarlo otra ves. Colocalo en la dirección opuesta de la que deseas (si quiero que mi silueta este viendo a la izquierda, la voy a trazar viendo a la derecha).
 Step 4
Cut and frame!
Paso 4
 Corta y enmarca!

How to make wall art for the kids room with out breaking the bank [Cómo decorar la pared del cuarto de los niños sin romper el cochinito]

My favorite: Vintage books! most of the time you can get them for free from your local Library or thrift stores for less than a dollar. All you need is a frame and some scrapbook paper.

I chose this one and added some words on the bottom for Mati's room
